Shaped card for Deep Ocean DT

Evening everyone,
Well it's been a lovely warm day today, so much warmer than we normally have here in the UK for April! I've been enjoying the weather by walking to get the kids from school in the afternoon which is a good 25 minutes walk each way - great exercise for me and not too much for the kids either.

Anyway, the reason for the post tonight is (of course) the next new challenge has just started over at
with a theme of
Shaped cards

Supplies:
Go Kreate shaped card die
Spellbinders labels twenty three and foliage
LOTV image and sentiment
Magnolia doohickey dies  - heart swirl branch, doily flower, doily
cheesecloth and gems from stash

We have the lovely Sandy sponsoring us this fortnight from:

http://www.liveandlovecrafts.com/

with this awesome prize!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
I'll be back in the morning with my new card for Midweek Magnolias :)

Shabby Chic and Sparkle

Hi everyone!
It's the start of another fabulous challenge over at
and we want to see your creations
Sparkle!
It is also the midway point for
current challenge of
Shabby Chic

I don't have the tea bench stamp so I drew it in around Tilda free hand and coloured it also with distress inks to give the seat the wooden look!
I did get rather Frantage happy and you nearly can't see the bench for the shabby blue dust cloud lol!

Supplies:
Go create shaped card die
Maja paper
Magnolia Afternoon tea Tilda, coloured in distress inks, surrounded by shabby blue frontage and machine stitching
Magnolia doohickeys - swirl, doily flowers, feathers
Spellbinders foliage
lace and gems from stash
White acrylic paint

Challenge prizes:

LHOSM - GDT spot
Simply Magnolia - Live and Love Crafts

Challenges I would like to enter:

The Ribbon Girl - Add ribbon or lace
Totally Tilda - Tea or coffee
Marvelous Magnolia - Shabby Chic
Tildas Town - Flowers

Show us some metal @ Midweek Magnolias

Morning folks,
I'm back again, this time to share my card for
where we want to see you
'Show us some metal'

Go Kreate card shaped die with double sided Maja paper - creating the contrasting layer below the image.
Magnolia Tailor Tilda coloured with distress inks, SU and Kaisercraft postmark stamps around the edge and machine stitched. Spellbinders labels sixteen under image.
Lace and dress form paper clip from Live and Love Crafts
Ribbons, hanger charm and gems from stash

Using an SU flower punch on thin metal sheet for flowers, adding pearl brads from stash
Tim Holtz metal leaves

I used the same thin metal to cut Magnolia DooHickey flag pole, then I cut it in half and bent over to shape the decorative pieces at the top of the card

Don't forget to add something metal to your Magnolia creations and you could be winning the mystery prize from Magnolia!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
