Totally Tilda MW #70 Heat embossing

Hi everyone,
sorry I'm a bit later today with my
midway reminder, letting you know you have almost a week left to show off your Tilda creations with some Heat embossing
 on there somewhere too.
Up until this themed challenge I have to admit to not doing much heat embossing as I wasn't always inspired by the end result, but since buying some Fran-tage it's renewed my interest and I hope I will continue to use it more from now on.

This week I was in the mood for making a centre step card:

and because my Tilda and bench were from the new mini collection I found I had time to decorate the inside of my card as well:

here's a close up of the fran-tage on the Magnolia doohickey doily sentiment:

Spellbinder nestie lacey circle
Magnolia doohickey's - doily, dragonfly, fence
Stampendous Fran-tage - shabby blue

Totally Tilda DT #70 Heat embossing

Hellooooo,
I'm here to tell you about the fab new challenge starting today over at
 which this time is
Heat Embossing.
I made this card for my daughter Jasmine who was 5 on Thursday. Her dad has always called her 'Princess Pea' so buying this Tilda was a no brainer!
I've got so much to do at the moment what with work and homelife and I don't cope well with work piling up, so it's a wonder this card got made at all! I had to colour the image twice as I made a complete hash of the first one, and after that I couldn't settle on a design that would compliment my image. However, as you can see I got past my crafters block in the nick of time and hope it doesn't show too much that my mojo is AWOL!

Challenges I would love to enter:
Bunny Zoes - Favourite colour combo (pink, purple, turquoise)
Inky Chicks - Happy Birthday Girl
Tilda's Town - Once Upon a Time

I used shabby pink Fran-tage embossing powder on the metal corner, SU brad and Spellbinder Nestie Fleur de lis square (I cut the middle out of this nestie so my image poked through)
Other supplies include:
Magnolia stamps Princess Pea Tilda and mattresses (coloured with DI's)
papers - Bazzill Antique newsprint and Magnolia Bon Voyage Hummingbird
Go Kreate XXL Square frame frilly #8
Magnolia doohickeys peony petal, cloud
Marianne Creatables rolled flowers
SU birthday sentiment
ribbon, cheesecloth, feather from stash

We are very lucky to be sponsored this time by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Totally Tilda's Midway reminder #69

Happy Sunday morning everyone,
We're already halfway through our current challenge over at
 and we're still going
Bingo
 crazy lol!
So if you fancy a game with us you still have almost a week to play - just make sure you use at least one line of three in a row from our Bingo grid and you have our lovely Tilda on your creation too of course :)
The card I made for this weeks midway reminder is for my mums birthday that's coming up in a couple of weeks. It's a twisted easel and I made a box for it to go in, something I don't normally do, and I decorated the lid to match the card inside. Mum is my biggest fan and loves the creations I make so I thought I would do something special for her.....

I didn't over layer it with papers as the couple that I picked were too beautiful to cover up (like I usually do lol!) I picked out the creams and browns from the paper to layer up the base with cream and kraft cardstock.

I coloured Tilda with Ugg boots using DI's, mainly vintage photo and walnut stain to keep with the vintage look. I used black soot for shadowing and then cut her out and matted her using Spellbinders Nestie beaded oval, distressing with walnut stain and machine stitching around the edges. I added stardust stickles to her boot buttons and the butterflies, and tea die stickles to her hair.

A close up of all those gorgeous WOC flowers, the double bow and sentiment.

This is a shot of the card in its box base next to the decorated lid.

I used the same papers for the lid and followed a similar design to the card.

Kangaroo Tilda was also coloured with DI's with more tea die stickles in her hair and glossy accents on the sweet kangaroos nose! I'm really pleased with the finished bunting, they look like mini tiles mounted on thick cream card and that fab BG paper sandeed back slightly at the edges.

Lastly I took this picture from above the card as a fun shot!

Supplies:
Stamps - Magnolia Tilda with Ugg boots and Kangaroo Tilda
Dies - Magnolia DooHickey's: tea label heart, peony petal, tag, flag
Go Kreate card shapes, Spellbinders Nestie Beaded Oval and foliage
Magnolia pearls
WOC flowers
SU sentiment, seam binding, linen thread

As you know our lovely sponsor for this challenge is Nikki from Bunny Zoe Crafts

Who's for a game of Tilda's Bingo?

Morning friends!
It's time for a fresh new challenge over at
again and this fortnight we're playing
Bingo
 with Tilda!
I'm not a player of real Bingo, but love it when craft is involved lol! The challenge for me was to go for a full house but only got as far as two lines with this weeks creation:

The card shapes are Go Kreate dies and the papers are BG and Magnolia. Doo Hickeys used were tag, lovely fence and heart swirl branch. I painstakingly machine stitched around Tilda and drew faux stitching on one of my paper layers and the tag.

The sentiment stamps used on the tag and around Tilda are SU. I covered the DooHickey fence with crackle paint and then went over it lightly with distress ink. This photo and the next one are the best I could take of the stickles on the WOC flowers, the Nestie lacey circle and Tilda's icecream cup. I also added glossy accents to Tilda's icecream. I used my DI's to colour Tilda.

Ribbon, cheesecloth, lace and charm are from my stash.

We are lucky to be sponsored by the lovely Nikki from Bunny Zoe Crafts for this challenge
