Hi everyone,
My card today comes with a reminder that you still have about a week left to enter
 fab Doily Delight challenge.
I decided to give this card to my mum for Mother's Day which is this Sunday in the UK.

The gorgeous paper is Maja - 6th of April
Dies used: Spellbinders - foliage, beaded ovals, Doohickey - scalloped tag. Part of the tag is covered in a torn doily and I used one full doily and two quarter pieces behind the image.
The Mother's Day sentiment and lace are from my stash.
The beautiful flowers are WOC

I had such fun colouring the awesome Tripping Flower Tilda (using distress inks as always) I used my pearl maker pen to finish off

As you can see my card has the added shaker element of micro beads

I hope you like my card and that it has inspired you to join us, thanks for visiting my blog today, check out my teamies gorgeous creations too!
We are lucky to be sponsored by:

DT - Midway #63 Marvelous Magnolia - Add some Green

Hi! Glorious spring sunshine here today, in fact this week has been lovely with lots of warm weather for the time of year - long may it continue :)
I'm here this afternoon to remind you that there is almost a full week left to enter our current challenge over at
#63 Add some Green.
This is the perfect opportunity to start those gorgeous spring/Easter creations and I find that purple and green are a beautiful colour combo!

Dies used: Go Kreate Frilly #6, Spellbinders labels twenty three, doohickeys - Tildas Ticket, stitched scalloped lace. The green butterfly paper is SU and the background paper is Magnolia Vintage Easter egg. The flowers are Magnolia and WOC. The adorable resin corner is from Live and Love Crafts. Lace and hessian both came from my stash.

I never tire of colouring Ballerina Bunny Tilda - she's so much fun to colour (with DI's for me), I randomly stamped Magnolia's chicken wire stamp round the edge and limited the Frantage to these places too.
Our fab sponsors this time are:

Scrapbooking Boutique

Wow, with so much up for grabs, how can you resist?

I would love to enter my card into the following challenge:

Debut DT creation for Simply Magnolia

Hello,
There was a time when I didn't think I would ever be on another design team and here I am showing you my first card as a DT member for
I was blown away when Tracy emailed me to say I'd made the team, I thought I was just guest designing for them, hadn't checked the challenge blog for any announcements, so it came like a bolt out of the blue! I have a lot to thank Tracy and the design team for, as I now find myself on not one but two Magnolia Design Teams, this news coming soon after being fortunate enough to make the Marvelous Magnolia DT!
Well, lets get down to the important business of showing my card.....
The theme is nice and easy:
Birthday Wishes and add a Birthday Sentiment
and we all have a reason to make plenty of those!

Dies used are: Go Kreate shaped card die, spellbinders circle and lacey circle, DooHickeys: scalloped tag, scalloped stictched lace border
Sentiment on Tilda's board is SU and the Time to celebrate stamp is by LOTV.

Write a Message Tilda was a delight to colour as always, using DI's. I finished the image off with Frantage and a white bead string.

The detail to the top right corner with lace under the ripped section and wrapped over the top of the paper in the corner, finished with a pale pink flower button. The reason for the ripped paper is so I had an excuse to add the zipper (I just love these!)

All the flowers are WOC and I couldn't go without adding an arty shot of the finished card! At the time of taking the photo I hadn't decided whether to sell the card or give it to someone special so I hadn't filled in the Month and Date on the stamp but I have since decided to give it to my daughter next month who will be six and adores Tilda as much as me!

We are lucky enough to be sponsored by the awesome:

Thanks for visiting me today it really means a lot, I hope you have had time to pop over to see what amazing inspiration my new teamies have for you on the main challenge blog, and I will see you on Thursday with my next creation for Marvelous Magnolia.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, if this goes to plan as a scheduled post I will be at Birmingham NEC today at Crufts dog show :)

DT - Anything Goes @ Marvelous Magnolia

Hi everyone,
I'm here today with a midway reminder with
 Marvelous Magnolia's Romance Team
Our current challenge is.... Anything Goes!
Wow, the sky's the limit with an open challenge like this, and I decided to revamp an old frame I've had kicking about doing nothing. I might try and sell some of these frames on my Facebook page when I get round to setting it up!
I painted the frame with white acrylic paint and once it had dried I then added some white crackle paint.
I stamped Magnolia's Swedish Cottage stamp to the backing board and added white crackle paint here and there. Next, I glued some cheesecloth on top of the stamped backing board before fixing a small canvas in the middle. Underneath the canvas I arranged buttons, shells and other seaside decor.

To the canvas I glued the image - Magnolia Swedish Cottages and Bikini Tilda, coloured with DI's. I didn't mask the two stamps together as I normally would as I didn't decide where to put Tilda until the last minute. I added glossy accents to the cottage windows and liquid pearls for Tilda's ankle bracelets.
Magnolia doohickeys used - scalloped, stitched lace, leaf and banner flags.

Lace from my stash and WOC flowers completes my altered frame.

We are lucky to have three wonderful sponsors this fortnight, they are:

Powered by Zen Cart :: The Art of E-Commerce

I would like to enter my creation into the following challenges:
MDUC  Facebook - Bingo (across the top - Buttons, Lace, Flowers)

Thank you for visiting me today, hope you like my creation, if you have time don't forget to visit the Marvelous Magnolia challenge blog for more inspiration from my awesome teamies!
Enjoy whats left of the week :)

Debut DT card for Marvelous Magnolia

Hello,
I'm very excited to be posting this card today, as it's my first as a DT member for
Marvelous Magnolia
on the Romance team!
I can't thank Rina enough for picking me, it means such a lot. Towards the end of last year I lost a lot of my confidence and Mr Mojo went on an extended holiday, so much so I didn't think I would ever get back to crafting in the same way as I used to.
Anywho, enough of my rambling, I'm here today to remind you that you still have almost a week left to enter Marvelous Magnolia's current challenge #61 Seeing Red
and to offer you some inspiration (if needed!) with my take on the theme.
It was made with Valentines in mind but could also be a birthday card I suppose....

The spotted red paper was scraps so I don't know the name of it :( but the other paper is Magnolia's Red Romance. I thought I would go with these fab fabric petals instead of flowers, but still couldn't resist adding the poppy to the tag!

Magnolia doohickeys used were: scalloped tag and sweet lovely lace (again! I'm using them a lot at the mo)
Paper layers are machine stitched and I remembered to add some cheesecloth from my stash (it's been getting very neglected lately)

I had so much fun colouring in Tilda Rose Scent (I think she's my favourite, so far!) using DI's. I added glossy accents to the perfume bottle and sprinkled white frantage around to finish off.

We are generously sponsored by:

DooHickeys Only!

Hi everyone,
I'm back with a card I made at the beginning of the week, I really felt inspired by
MDUC's Doohickeys only challenge
so thought I would have a go. I was surprised how many I managed to squeeze on and I'm sure I could have probably put a few more on too but I thought that might have been pushing it!

It has a very English country garden feel to it, and I'm so pleased with the final result. The doohickeys used were: cloud, heart love branch, tree, fence and grass edges, doily flower, leaves and tea bench. The cloud (with LOTV sentiment), branches, tree, grass and leaves were all cut from white cardstock and coloured using DI's and SU daubers so that some white still showed through. I cut two of each size doily flower from water colour paper, painted with worn lipstick and dusty concord DI's.
The machine stitched paper layers are the gorgeous Maja Vintage Spring 6th of April and I still can't believe I managed to cut into it!

The bench and fence were frantaged with aged silver and the fence also has a bit of pearlized mica fragments on it too.

A couple of other challenges I would love to enter with this card:
Bunny Zoe - Stitching
Magnolialicious - Anything Goes
I do hope you like my card, thanks for popping by today!
Hugs,
