Allsorts DT Wk 151 Sketch

Hi everyone,
Peace has broken out in my household now that school's back in and we are all happier in our term time routine, especially as the weather was so bad in the easter hols that we couldn't get out much anyway. Coupled with that our car kept breaking down so that made going anywhere slightly risky, however last weekend we got another car so happy days are here again all round - hooray!

Today sees the start of a new
challenge! Our lovely Emma has given us a
sketch
to work with this week and I must admit I got slightly carried away so I hope you can still see the original sketch in my card :)
I turned the corner over twice and made a tag pocket. I used one piece of double sided SU paper so that it coordinated better at the turned back corner. I must confess that the LOTV image - New Hat didn't colour very well on the water colour paper I used (not my usual) and the red and black dress bled in a few places but I didn't have enough time to do it again and I was pleased with it on the whole so I left it (just don't look too closely lol!)

The only thing that's different from the picture of my card on the Allsorts blog is that I've added a few diamond gems so that I can enter:
Lili's little Fairies challenge - Diamonds and Pearls

Other supplies used:
Magnolia DooHickey tag and antique lace
Marianne Creatable rolled flowers die
SU photo corner punch
Nesties Lacey square and foliage

This is the sketch to follow over at Allsorts, pop over to the main challenge blog for all the details and the rest of the wonderful DT inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today, your comments are so appreciated. I hope you find time to join us at Allsorts this week, I will be back tomorrow to show you something extra I had time to make the other day.
Hugs,

This is beautiful Nicola! I adore the colours you've chosen and that LOTV image is so, so cute! That is such a clever way you've turned back the corner for the tag! So much to see on here that every time I look at it, I see something I hadn't noticed before. Truly gorgeous!
