Allsorts DT #168 Heavy Metal

Morning everyone,
I can't believe it's a week since I was in Leeds at the fab LOTV shop! I had a brilliant time, everyone was sooooo friendly and I got on really well in the promarker workshop - I will be making a card with the image I coloured so watch this space for that one lol! Dawny P, who took the class was lovely, really friendly and down to earth. The class was very professional and ran so smoothly, and the hour went far too fast - it just goes to prove how time really does fly when you're having that much fun! I also spent too much, well you can't go all that way and then not buy anything can you?
Anywho, I hope you are all ready for another fab
challenge, this week hosted by Helene, who has given us a theme of
Heavy Metal.
I decided to use a charm and I made my flower out of tinfoil! This is a very CAS card, not like me at all, but I guess I needed to take a couple of weeks off from my usual 'busy' style. When I look at this card I feel it represents the decluttering of the mind and I now feel refreshed.

A close up of the Peacock image from this week's sponsor Flonz, I love this kind of stamp: quick and easy silhouette style which is fab to embellish with minimum effort!

Supplies:
SU papers and seam binding
Nesties labels two
Whimsy mini postage stamp sentiment
Magnolia doohickey peony petal
charm, brad and assorted gems/sequins from stash

Got to love you and leave you now, I've got to brave the shops today to buy all the last minute things ready for school, I tried unsuccessfully to do this earlier in the week - my daughter has very narrow feet and I have a feeling school shoes are going to be a nightmare, having tried six pairs on in one shop and none were a good enough fit!

Thanks for stopping by to say hello today, as always your comments brighten my day, and I will see you again on Friday (if not before ;) to show you my latest Fussy and Fancy creation!
Wishing you a productive crafting weekend
Hugs,

I love this card Nicola, very classy. Good luck with the shoe shopping, Mac has narrow heels and we always end up with Ricosta, expensive but worth it. May see you shopping, we going later

Morning Nicola,

I can totally identify with the narrow feet problem, my eldest daughter is exactly the same and when she was at school I used to have the same nightmare.

You've done a really lovely job with the Peacock image and the pearls added to its tail feathers is very effective.

Hope you have a lovely weekend in the shopping goes to plan.
