Midway Fruity design for Totally Tilda

Morning all,
We are half way through our fab
Tilda with Fruit
challenge over at
and so I'm here to show you what I've made for the week ahead - a criss-cross card, and although the paper is a little on the bright side for me, I'm still chuffed with the end result. As I didn't have any apple DP, this was the next best thing as it's still fruity and compliments the apple theme well.
I've not put a sentiment on this one as it's not earmarked for anything in particular yet, but it's suitable for loads of different occasions, even as a Get Well card (an apple a day and all that....)

I went with an apple core shaped tag, which I designed myself and if you squint it actually looks a bit like an apple core lol!

Supplies:
Magnolia apple Tilda (coloured as usual with TH DI's)
Magnolia doohickey's antique lace, flower
Spellbinder nesties lacy square, foliage, labels nine
SU stamp used on edge of nestie shape
WOC flower
Magnolia paper - vintage cherries

Thanks for visiting me today and for your lovely comments x
I hope to be visiting many of your blogs this coming week and I will be back next week with a new creation for the start of a whole new Totally Tilda challenge.
Just a quick reminder of what fantastic prize we have on offer from Sir Stampalot:

Tilda Sparkles
and

Shiny Tilda with candles

I hope you find time to join us this time at Totally Tilda as we can't wait to see what you create!

Tilda's getting Fruity!

Morning friends,
It's the start of an awesome new challenge over at Totally Tilda today, but before I launch into telling you all about it I've just got to say how much I was blown away by all the spooky Halloween creations that were made for our last challenge - they were amazing!
Anywho, this time around we would love to see your Tilda's with fruit - this includes fruity embellies, papers and of course Tilda carrying fruit of some kind, in fact as long as we can see fruit and the adorable Tilda on your projects you're good to go!
Well, I had a moment of inspiration and decided to make an apron card. There are so many apron templates out there but I just used a circle nestie to cut away the top two corners of a rectangle of card. I absolutely loved colouring this Strawberry Tilda image, and I'm pleased with how she turned out :)
I'm late with my post this morning because originally this card started out one dimensional and when I got up today I decided to add to it shall we say lol! I just don't do CAS!

I joined my apron pieces with two rings and decorated the inside following the strawberry theme using offcuts of my paper to create a space for a written message (spellbinders nestie labels nine) and a pocket for a recipe or two and/or notes, I just made up a blank Tilda's ticket to pop in there and the fruit label is also a Magnolia stamp.
I tend to leave my sentiments fairly neutral so that it can be used for any occasion, although the circle sentiments on the nestie shape do say happy birthday.

Couldn't resist a close up of the lovely Tilda :)

We are lucky to be sponsored this fortnight by the fabulous

Anything goes at Fussy and Fancy

It's my birthday today yippee!!!! 21 again lol! So, as long as Mr Blogger is behaving this post is scheduled so I can sit back and take it easy. Well, almost, I've got to go to work for an hour or so but after that the rest of the day is mine :)
Back to the reason for the post, not only is it my birthday but it's also the start of a brand new challenge over at
 which this time is
 'Anything Goes'!
Now this doesn't always come easy for me as I like an idea and something to work on from the start and given a free rein I'm lost in indecision. However, I used CLP's sketch (a lifesaver if ever there was one!) and made it for my mum and dad's wedding anniversary - perfect, and this is the end result....

The Teddy Bo images are separate which I stamped with their paws touching (they were free with a magazine), coloured using DI's.
Papers are Magnolia and BG.
Magnolia doohickeys used: Tag, Tilda's lace border, flag, heart branch swirl. The sentiment on the tag is an SU stamp.

Challenge I would like to enter:
CLP - Sketch

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope you find time to join us at Fussy and Fancy for our Anything Goes challenge, you could be chosen to be our next guest designer!
I will be back on Sunday with my next Totally Tilda creation, so until then...have a wonderful weekend and Happy Crafting :)
Hugs,

Halloween Greetings from Tilda

Morning everyone,
It's time for another amazing
challenge, which this fortnight is
Halloween Tilda!
I love Halloween, I always carve a pumpkin or two and take the kids round the block trick or treating - they love dressing up.....I do too for that matter :) and have been known to go to one or two Halloween parties dressed in rather dodgy outfits lol!
Anywho, moving swiftly on to my Totally Tilda DT creation for this week.....

I'm afraid my imagination ran away with me for this one and I may have gone OTT with the design. The idea was to have Flying Witch Tilda (coloured with DI's) framed with a huge full moon and I hand drew a castle silhoutte to add to the spookiness. Cheesecloth behind this looks kind of cobwebby and the black Magnolia DooHickey clouds finishes off the night sky. Both sentiments are from a Magnolia Halloween text pack and I smudged the 'Halloween Greetings' by mistake - loved it so much as it makes it look sinister so decided not to redo it (a true happy accident :)
I stamped, coloured and cut out the Magnolia wall and owl and added black sequins to the owls tummy - still think he looks too cute to be scary in any way though lol!
The pumpkin is a Prickley Pear Clearly Beautiful stamp on orange card and I can't make a card lately without Magnolia's DooHickey Fence.
You probably recognise the paper as being Magnolia

A side view to show the dimension of my centre step card design with extra step.

So come along and join in the Halloween celebrations with us, check out my teamies magnificent creations over at the Totally Tilda challenge blog. Our wonderful sponsor this time is

with a fabby prize of:

We can't wait to see what spooky Tilda masterpieces you come up with
