Hello,
Apologies for delay between posts, I really must do some smaller projects and pick up the pace! The card I have just finished is a double twisted easel(I think!) and took longer than I'd hoped because I completely changed the background papers from what I originally had ready. I guess my mood changed halfway through and I didn't like the way it was turning out so did an about turn and started from scratch. I'm a lot happier with this version so it was worth it!

The idea behind the images I chose is that the Fairy Godmother waves her wand and transforms Tilda into a princess - a story my daughter would approve of!
I love my newest Tilda- Hello Little Butterfly, but I ended up paper piecing her because I wasn't happy with how I'd coloured her in! Even the butterfly got paper pieced lol!
The other two Tilda's and the doily die behind them were borrowed from my friend Fleur(thanx soooo much!).

I admire everyone who is able to use their sewing machines and finish their work beautifully with some gorgeous stitching. I, however, STILL haven't managed to do this (very frustrating) so I've had to settle for second best and do faux stitching!

This is absolutely beautiful Nicola! It would have never ocurred to me to make a double twisted easel card. No wonder it took you longer than usual! The result is outstanding and I'm happy to have found you through Just Magnolia thumbnails.
