Are you all ready for another
challenge? This week our lovely host is Debs bringing you the very patriotic theme of
Red, White and Blue!
Of course you can interpret this colour combo any way you wish, as the DT team have proved, there doesn't have to be a nation's flag in sight. I must confess a small Union flag did creep into my design but it just went with the whole theme. My little PB torch bearer mouse reminded me of last Wednesday when I took my children to see the Olympic flame pass through our town - such an amazing experience and I was so glad I was there, the atmosphere was fantastic and I took some video of the procession as a keepsake for my family. It was definitely one of those key moments in life for my kids to look back on in years to come :)
Anyway here's my card:
Tildas ticket and bunting flag were run through the bigshot with an inked up embossing folder.
I cut the Go Kreate background shape out of three different papers and tore into strips before putting back together randomly.
Penny Black 'Love London' torch bearer mouse coloured in DI's
Spellbinders nestie lacey circle
Go Kreate background shape
DooHickey Tildas Ticket, flag and so wrapped swirly tag
Marianne creatable rolled flowers
Thanks for popping by today and for any comments you may leave, hope you find inspiration in what I made! If you have time it's always worth taking a look at the other DT inspiration over at Allsorts and maybe joining in.....we love to see what you come up with.
Have a wonderful weekend and I will be back next week for more Allsorts fun.
