Allsorts Free and Easy July

Hi everyone,
Doesn't time fly when you're having fun! Can't believe a week has gone by and I'm here again showing you this weeks creation for Allsorts DT. For the whole month of July the theme is Free and Easy, this week our sponser is crimson cloud and you could win this fab kit that you can make seven cards with!

   .
I've been itching to have a go at this box card since I did one at my lovely friend and fellow blogger Chris' craft class! I followed the great sketch set by Kristy over at Magnolia Down Under this week. I used Basic Grey Origins papers, gave my panel a torn top edge and a Magnolia doo hickey Antique lace lower edge. The bunting is Magnolia (borrowed from Fleur, thanks hun xx), the image is new Magnolia's Explore Tilda coloured with Distress inks and cut out and backed using Nesties Labels nine. Leaves are an SU punch and the flowers are from my stash.

A view of the depth of the 'box'.

The inside of the card. Sentiment on left hand side is LOTV. The top lacy strip was done using an SU punch, the 'grass' that Magnolia's Edwin with butterfly is sitting on I cut out myself and made it up as I went along. Coloured Edwin in using Distress inks. The background inside the frame is an SU tree stamp and the foliage is a Shapeabilities die. The butterfly is an SU embosslits.

Hope you find the time to look at the amazing DT work my teamies have done this week, and it inspires you to join in with us! Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing.
Thanks for stopping and taking a look today, your support is amazing!
Love,
